Proposed DEVELOPMENT - NEWARK RIVERFRONT
These drawings were done by gridding a map and then transferring the footprints of the existing buildings to another grid drawn in perspective (faster & easier than it sounds) to ensure proper placement of buildings, roadways and shoreline. Drawings like these can be used as first step presentation to get ideas approved before moving on to more technically accurate ( but slower and more expensive) CAD renditions. The next 8 drawings are variations on what might be done on the land by building a bridge between NJPAC and the river. Done for Edwards & Kelcey Inc. (now Jacobs).Thursday, June 11, 2009

ESSEX COUNTY ENVIRONMENTAL CENTER
It now exists looking very much like this. ( As far as I can tell from the ground. ) It was done from the architect's side elevations which he had colored and an overhead view. There were also snapshots of the land before it was built.Line art reduced on paper and hand colored. Grey on parking area added in Photoshop.

MAKEOVER
The stucco makeover of a previously clapboard house in the Italian style. I took on the task of making the upstairs windows appear evenly spaced and maintaining the look of the third story in the Tuscan style. The railing added on the roof is half as high as the railing that already ran along the porch tops: It imitates perspective to make the building seem taller. Most of this redesigning is mine.
